About Camp Whitcomb/Mason
Founded in 1911, Camp Whitcomb/Mason is a year-round camp located on the shores of Lake Keesus in Hartland, Wisconsin, and is the oldest Boys & Girls Club Camp in America.
The shared mission of Camp Whitcomb/Mason and our parent company, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, is to inspire and empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
When not serving Boys & Girls Club campers, our camp opens its doors to other groups, sharing this extraordinary place where growth and connection thrive.
Summer Camp That Sparks Growth
When school’s out, adventure begins! Boys & Girls Clubs stay open all summer—but for kids ready for something bigger, Camp Whitcomb/Mason is calling. From June through August, our day and overnight camps invite kids to unplug, explore nature, and discover what they’re truly capable of.
Here, campers build confidence, friendships, and resilience through outdoor fun, teamwork, and new challenges. With every hike, game, and campfire, they grow more independent and connected—to nature, to others, and to themselves. Camp Whitcomb/Mason is a life-shaping experience.
