Hello Caregivers! This week we are going to be talking about motivation. Motivation is the key to our success and living better day to day lives. To start off the week I wanted to share an article that explains the importance of self-motivation. While our children may have us to help them stay motivated there may be times when we have to motivate ourselves. So, I hope you look at this article as an opportunity to understand why we should keep self-motivating.

Brain Boost:Learn about Rosa Parks. Throughout her life, Rosa Parks repeatedly challenged racial violence and the prejudiced systems protecting its perpetrators. Her refusal to move to the back of a segregated bus ignited a boycott that lasted 381 days and helped transform civil rights activism into a national movement. But this work came at an enormous risk— and a personal price. Riché D. Richardson details the life of Rosa Parks. Why do you think Rosa Parks is described as "the mother of the Civil Rights Movement?" Write about it or discuss it with your family.
