        Support for Caregivers:
Hello caregivers! This week we are going to talk about stress management and self-care. These are two very important practices that can change our lives in big ways. These practices do not have to be very time consuming or expensive but our ability to incorporate them in our daily lives to whatever extent we can will be beneficial. To start off this week we have an article you can check out that gives you general information about what causes stress, what stress looks like and how we can use self-care to respond to it.

While it is okay to be stressed at time, this song will remind us that it is better to reach out to others for help so we can overcome stress together!

        SEL Moment:
Hi again! To continue our conversation about this week’s themes I wanted you guys to hear from students just like you. In this Ted-Ed Student Talk you will hear from many different students about their experiences with stress. This video serves as a reminder that you are not alone, so if you are feeling stressed you can always talk to a friend, family member, or another trusted adult (like the ones at BGC) about how to approach your stress. Enjoy!
