Three of our Clubs are distributing free meals for kids every Friday. Any family can pick up a week’s worth of food (21 meals and 21 cartons of milk) for each child 18 and younger in their household from the following Clubs.
No identification necessary. Club membership is not required.
Please note that per the city of Milwaukee’s Mask Ordinance, as well as guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, BGCGM’s mask policy remains in effect. Masks must be worn by all members and staff while in our facilities. Thank you for your cooperation.
All payments are managed securely through Stripe, and we will never have or retain your credit card information. If you prefer to contribute by mail or have questions about your contribution, please contact Rebecca Stoner: (414) 267-8131 or via email: email@example.com.
Give just a few hours of your time and you can make a lasting impact on Milwaukee kids and teens.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is proud to welcome positive, skilled and committed volunteers to our Clubs in the near future. We are currently unable to accept volunteers at this time. Future volunteer opportunities include engaging with Club youth through one-on-one tutoring, homework help, art projects and recreational activities.
We customize one-time event opportunities to give our corporate and community partners a glimpse of what our organization is about. These opportunities include annual special events hosted by our fundraising staff and customized Club projects that fit a company’s desired volunteer request.
Customized opportunities typically last 3-5 hours and are created within the operational hours of our Club sites. Projects range from Club beautification (planting flowers, painting murals) to literacy activities with Club youth. If you are interested in volunteering for a special event or creating a one-time opportunity for your staff when we are able to accept volunteers, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Youth who are 17-years-old or younger or 18-years-old and still in high school do not need to complete a volunteer application. They must go to their local Club and complete a Club membership application. Club sites have volunteer opportunities for youth to participate in during afterschool programming and Summer Camp. Youth volunteers benefit from Club programming, sports and recreation activities, youth jobs and scholarship opportunities.
To ensure the safety of our members, ALL volunteers must complete the necessary volunteer requirements and must pass a criminal background check before starting. Volunteers participating in a one-time event ARE NOT required to complete a background screening. Follow these steps to your volunteer opportunity:
Please note that not everyone who completes the application process is approved to volunteer with us. Submitted applications that do not meet the necessary requirements will be omitted and the applicant will be notified. Acceptance into the Volunteer Program is contingent on all parts of the volunteer process. TB tests are no longer required for Boys & Girls Clubs volunteers.
