Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is offering online programming opportunities for Club members through the Canvas learning platform. Members can now access specific programs when they are away from the Clubs and our portfolio of online programming will continue to grow in the coming months. The following online programs are available to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee members.
Graduation Plus is a collection of college access and success programs that help prepare Boys & Girls Club members for college. Members are guided through the university selection and application processes and are provided financial resources and scholarship opportunities – some of which are only available to Club members. Current online programs include: Sponsor-a-Scholar 2022 & 2023 Cohorts, and Future College Scholars 2022 Cohort. Programs coming soon include: BMO Scholars and Future College Scholars
Sports and Recreation programs are designed to help all youth become physically literate – having the competence, confidence and intrinsic motivation to be physically active every day. Current online programs include: Triple Play: Healthy Habits. Programs coming soon include: Dance, Pull Your Own Weight, and Chess

Preparing young people for an increasingly competitive global workforce is critically important for their future success. Clubs prepare teens by helping them develop their leadership skills, access postsecondary and career readiness activities, and connect their passions with clear goals as they begin their journey toward a great future. Online programs will include: Money Matters, Career Launch, Retail Customer Service, Positive Action, and Junior Staff
Through Leadership & Service programs at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, youth are encouraged to take an active role as leaders within their Club. They are introduced to community service programming and gain confidence through unique opportunities in their Clubs and the community. Online programs will include: Torch Club and Keystone Club
STEAM programming is an important component of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee experience. Our STEAM program – Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math – encourages youth to engage in critical thinking and creativity. Students experience opportunities to engage in self-expression and problem solving.
SPARK Early Literacy helps boost the literacy skills of K4 through 3rd grade students through one-on-one academic support during school days. As we bring SPARK to Club members virtually, our tutors will continue to check in with students through video conferences for social and emotional support and to help them adapt to virtual learning.
Health & Wellness programs help develop young people’s capacity to engage in positive behaviors to nurture their well-being, set personal goals and grow into self-sufficient adults. These programs include our gender specific programs, Teen Pregnancy Prevention initiative and much more.
We’re pleased to adapt our important Teen Pregnancy Prevention program to our virtual learning platform. Please stay tuned as we bring you more details about this virtual program soon!
