COVID-19’s Impact on Camp Operations

Camp Status: Summer camp registration has been paused

We want to assure you during these uncertain times that we continue to keep you and all of our campers at the heart of every decision we make. We are closely monitoring the health and safety guidelines put forth by public health officials and government agencies and will make decisions about camp operations based on these guidelines. As this situation is ever-changing, it’s difficult to predict at this moment what the Summer of 2020 will look like at Camp Whitcomb/Mason. We want to assure you however, that the health and safety of our campers and staff is our number one priority in all decisions we make.

In the meantime, we hope campers are enjoying the Camp@Home experience with many of the traditional camp activities kids love scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays in our online learning portal. Please also stay connected with us on Facebook:

We anxiously await the opportunity to see our campers’ smiling faces and fill their days with arts and crafts, nature, recreation, swimming, camp songs, meals together and adventures. Until that day, stay well, campers.

Camp Whitcomb/Mason has something for everyone. Kids and teens alike benefit from the educational and recreational activities, while our Leader-In-Training program prepares teens to captain camp activities while learning basic leadership skills.

The cost of a one-week session is $499 per camper and includes lodging, meals, program activities, supplies, staffing and an annual membership to Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. Financial aid opportunities are available for members and frequent attendees at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee.

Please contact camp for more information regarding fees and scholarships at (262) 538-1190.

Overnight Camp
(Ages 7-14)

Spend four nights in a cabin with two camp staff members who will create a fun and memorable atmosphere. Campers can try new things such as canoeing, hiking, singing camp songs, arts and crafts, aquatic activities and field games.

Leader-in-Training Program
(Ages 15–17)

Our LIT Program is a comprehensive two-week program that readies teens to be leaders in their communities and circles. The program is based on leadership styles and skills with a focus on youth in the Camp setting. During their two-week time at Camp, LITs will be learning about various leadership styles, shadowing our Program Specialists, and planning an All-Camp activity.
