Camp will look a little different this year, but this summer will be as fun as ever for our overnight Campers at Camp Whitcomb/Mason in Hartland!
Safety is our top priority. Our health and safety protocols include small group sizes and low staff-to-member ratios, physical distancing, and a focus on healthy hand hygiene and disinfecting.
Overnight Camp offers kids and teens ages 7-17 a unique opportunity for an impactful week-long adventure at our 306-acre Camp. Campers will enjoy swimming, fishing, arts & crafts, campfire songs and stories, outdoor adventures, and also gain leadership and teambuilding skills. After their time at Camp, youth return home with new abilities and new friends. For many, the Camp experience is transformational.
Campers spend four nights in a cabin with two camp staff members who create a fun and memorable atmosphere. Campers get the chance to try new things such as canoeing, hiking, singing camp songs, arts and crafts, aquatic activities and field games, like archery.
Our LIT Program is a comprehensive two-week program that readies teens to be leaders in their communities and circles. The program is based on leadership skill development with a focus on youth in the Camp setting. During their two-week time at Camp, LITs will learn about various leadership styles, shadow our Program Specialists, and plan an All-Camp activity. LITs will go home on the weekend in between their two weeks.
